Cucumber and Chamomile – Simple 4 Ingredient DIY Skin Calming Mask
SIMPLE 4 INGREDIENT SKIN CALMING MASK
Skin Calming Mask:
1/2 of a cucumber
1/4 cup chamomile tea
1/2 cup cooked oats
1 tbsp honey
You can brew your chamomile tea ahead of time as you will not need or want it warm to prepare the face mask.
Combine your 4 ingredients together in a blender food processor. Refrigerate for 2 hours and apply directly to skin without rubbing it in abrasively so you don’t cause any irritation of any kind. The oats are not intended to be used for exfoliating. They are there to sooth in this mask. Be as gentle with your skin as possible. Leave the mask on your face for 10-20 minutes depending on what feels most comfortable. Splash your face with water to begin removing the dried mask. Let the water loosen it up some and gently massage it off of your skin as you wipe it away. Make sure all of the mask is gone and wash your face with your normal cleanser, follow up with a gentle toner and moisturizer.
If there’s any leftover mask, you can always refrigerate or freeze it for later.
