5 New Things I Will Be Trying This Month
Hello everyone! I know that I generally do these posts as “5 Things I am Trying This Week” but I made an exception because I have a couple things coming in the mail that I don’t know when I will be trying so I decided I best make this post about new products I will be trying for the remainder of the month. The most exciting thing by far is that I recently subscribed to Boxycharm and will be getting a July box at some point that I will be able to share with you all!! So let’s begin with that.
1.) Boxycharm Beauty Subscription Box $21
So I finally cracked and got myself a boxycharm subscription because I kept seeing everyone’s awesome reviews and photos online. Plus some July boxes have thee new Farmacy Bright On Mask in them!
2.) Herbivore Botanicals Pink Clay Cleansing Bar Soap $12
I picked this us last week and to be perfectly honest I am more excited about using this product just because of all the hype around the brand and being able to report back to everyone about it than I probably am about getting a new bar of soap. I really am more of a Basin girl at heart. It’s just who I am as a person. So please consider this when I report back on this Pink Clay soap by Herbivore Botanicals. I legit love this brand and I love that they started on Etsy but my heart is occupied when it comes to luxury small batch handmade soaps.
3.) Boscia Tsubaki Jelly Ball Cleanser $20
I purchased this on Sephora’s website and by the time it was delivered to my house, they no longer carried it. It was one of those products that looked too fun not to at least try. It can still be found at dermstorm.com and the charcoal version of the Boscia cleanser is still available on Sephora’s website at least for now. It had decent reviews when I first purchased it and then it seems that some negative reviews were left in that short period between when I purchased it and when it got delivered. So this could be weird. I have absolutely NO idea what to expect.
I am always up for anything with aloe vera in it because of my sensitive skin and I am already a big fan a Sephora’s Sleeping Masks. Right now they have 2 special edition masks that include the Aloe Vera as pictured as well as a Coconut Water one. I am not sure how long these Limited Edition Sleeping Masks will be available and as far as availability goes, I am also unsure because I was only able to get the Aloe Vera one in my local Sephora store. I had to order the Coconut Water Sleeping Mask online through Sephora’s website. If I find anything else out, I will update this post.
Another interesting thing that I noticed is that the Lingzhi (Orange packaging – anti-aging Sleeping Mask) is back on the website. I haven’t seen the Lingzhi Sleeping Mask at Sephora in years it seems. I wonder if they rotate them out to keep people interested. They also seem to rotate the sheet masks in the Sephora Collection as well. Anyways, I have my Aloe Vera mask in hand and will be trying it out a night this week.
5.) TOO FACED Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette – Peaches and Cream Collection
Ok. . . So I ordered this as one of Sephora’s weekly deals for 50% off ($22.50 compared to the regular price of $45.00) and it was in stock when I made my order online over the weekend but now the palette says it is out of stock and my order is “in process”. I was already charged for it so we will see if I get the chance to try this or not! Wish me luck kids!!
